"This site is a privately supported reference providing information of interest to the land surveyor (also known as the Cadastral Surveyor) involved in the preservation and retracement of the Public Land Survey System (PLSS) in the United States.

Degree Confluence Project

An organized attempt to sample the earth by visiting each of the latitude and longitude integer degree intersections. Volunteer contributors from around the world, whose photographs and notes of places visited are featured on the site, support the project.
